This sucked. Like seriously sucked for her, Sayuri had to go to Halloween Town for her next mission. To make matters worse she had to go there alone, or that was what she was told, though she doubted that she would leave from the place alone. Half way through the mission she was probably going to find someone else there and they would end up working together to complete their missions faster. Though she would be okay with anyone showing up at random, she wished that it would be Akiharo, he made everything faster and more fun when they went on missions together.

Although, she got the feeling that he wouldn't be the one to show up. Something told her that he had been told to go elsewhere. Oh well, no matter she would just have to finish the mission by herself as it was meant to be. Sayuri sighed and gave a small shrug as she stepped out of the Dark Corridor that had taken her to Halloween Town. The aura this place gave off she found somewhat soothing. It was dark and mysterious, as well as quiet. Well this part of it was anyways.

She could hear faint yelling from time to time in the distance and she looked off in the distance. Her job was to collect hearts as usual but it wouldn't hurt to do some recon, right? She shrugged again and started walking down the path that led into the town.

Its as if it was his unlucky day Luxord decided as he leaped over another Tentaclaw. He blocked another with a card, then ducked down as a Tentaclaw tried to grab him. Luxord used to large cards as scissors and cut a claw, but another just sprang up afterwards. Just another day hutning the abberations of Darkness Luxord thought to himself and he continued dodging and cutting Tentaclaws

Not long after she had begun to walk down the path, Sayuri began to sense a strong aura coming from somewhere. It was a heartless she could tell, but the aura seemed somehow different. The ground suddenly began to shake and she stumbled back a bit. The ground started to crack around the area where she stood and with a bit of hesitation, she jumped out of the way. But as she jumped, something shot up from the space that was cracked, and it grabbed her leg. Sayuri let a scream escape her lips accidently and she was thrown to the ground.

The hell it that? she thought as she got up quickly. She looked at the creature of sorts and noticed it looked like a claw. The claw came in for another attack but Sayuri quickly summoned her keyblade and blocked the attack. The claw seemed to be disoriented by this for a moment and she saw an opportunity to destroy it so she took it. While it was like that, she jumped up and hit it three times with her keyblade. As she landed behind it, the claw disintegrated and she turned around and looked at the spot where it had been. That was ... Interesting. She looked away from the spot and continued on, her keyblade still in her hand in case more showed up.

A scream echoed down through the air, the voice seemed familiar but it would have to wait. The Heartless seemed to recognize Luxord's threat level as well. The Tentaclaw's haven't stopped aacking but now Toy Soldier Heartless have come along. It seemed that he really was a threat if those Toy Soldiers haven't dissapeared with the other heartless Luxord realized. Just as he leaped into a backflip, a Toy shot him in the arm. Luxord gritted his teeth and used stop on two of the three Toy Soldiers. He'd either have to summon help, or wait out a little longer for some help.

Sayuri couldn't stop thinking about the claw she had just seen, there had to be more of them. She was sure there were more as these things seem to be able to multiply. As if on cue more of the Tentaclaws showed up and began to try and grab her. She gasped and jumped back out of their reach. As she did this, she noticed that they seemed to have a blind spot. They had to rotate to reach you if you were behind them. She took this advantage over them and with a wide smirk she hit the back of the Tentaclaws.

Once they were out of the way, she moved on quickly. She had to get out of there away from the rest of those things. Of course she knew she would run into more of them elsewhere but she had to get away from there. As she reached the entrance to the town, Sayuri was stopped yet again by don't Ice Cubes. She sighed heavily and pointed her keyblade at them. But instead of swinging it at them, she used Fire to destroy them quickly. She watched their hearts float up and she sighed again. More hearts for Kingdom Hearts.

Sayuri entered the town and her eyes immediately fell on the fight going on between some heartless and "Luxord!" she gasped as she ran over to him, her eyes on the heartless.

Despite himself, the Gambler looked over "Impecable timing my dear" before getting smashed itno a wall by a Tentaclaw. He gripped the claw trying to free himself.

There was a high pitched squeak that came from her throat as she watched the Tentaclaw slam Luxord into a wall. She had a moment of hesitation before she lifted her keyblade up to a battle stance. There were still many of the Tentaclaws but Sayuri knew that she had to help Luxord first. With that in mind, she ran at the claw that held Luxord to the wall and with a two move combo, she destroyrd the claw and landed on her feet on the other side of where she had been standing. "You okay?" she asked him as she glanced around at the other claws that were around them.

Luxord landed on his feet with a slight crouch. He stood back up in battle position "I'd say that my king was no match for their ace, those Toy Soldiers are the real danger right now. The claws..well to put it simply we must rip out the heart to banish them back to darkness." He gestured at the Toy Soldiers who were regaining their time.

"Where could the source of these things be though? It's obvious they are part of a much larger, more powerful heartless." Sayuri said, as she held her keyblade up and pointed it at the Toy Soldiers. There were quite a few of them, and she cast Fire on them. A couple of them were set on fire while some of them were left intact. She gritted her teeth and swung her keyblade at the Soldiers on fire.

"You would be correct on the latter part of your question. The real trick is where to find the heart, stab it and rip it out from the beast." He worked in tandem with Sayuri, as she attack he stopped guarding with cards, when she stopped attacking the card wall came back up. There were just too many Tentaclaws at the moment.

Her eyes looked around as she defeated some of the heartless. There was a pattern of where the Tentaclaws came from it seemed. They came from an alley of sorts, though she didn't know where it led. "I think I know where the heartless is." she said, gesturing to the alley, before she attacked a Tentaclaw.

Sayuri nodded and began to run toward the alley where the Tentaclaws seemed to be coming from. One of them sprouted up from the ground in front of her suddenly and she jumped back a bit, before she lunged at it and destroyed it. "They seem to be coming from in here. If not further in." she said, pointing at the gate.

He fended off the latest blow and put in in a time frozen state "It's always in the abyss of the lair" Luxord stated flatly and followed her in

"Hmm ..." she said softly as she looked around after they entered the next part of the town. More Tentaclaws shot out and she looked for their pattern again. "That coffin." she indicated as she looked at the Tentaclaws, looking for a way to go around them.

"Better hurry, I don't think i can keep gambling in this game of poker like this" Luxord managed to growl as he kept blocking and fighting Heartless. They really didn't want them to go in the direction they are going. He got the sudden feeling that a simple strike at the heart wasn't going to kill this Heartless

The heartless began to get in their way and they tried to block them from passing. No matter which way she turned, Sayuri found herself blocked by a heartless. She huffed in frustration and stomped her foot. She was starting to lose her temper and that wasn't good. If she became to frustrated or angry, the darkness within her would take over and who knows what would happen. She sure wouldn't, it was the same when she fought Sora. She had lost herself to the darkness and if she had been allowedvto go farther, she would have probably killed Sora.

She stared straight at the path blocked by heartless and her eyes narrowed. Her 'anger' was growing as well as the darkness and she lifted her keyblade to be pointed at them. "Move." she said, in a voice that was slightly deeper than hers, the monotone voice that was there when the darkness took over. Her keyblade began to glow and a stream of light shot from it, destroying the heartless in the way. She took a step forward and blinked. "Wha ...?" she stared at the hole in front of her, unaware that she had caused it and she looked at Luxord with a puzzled expression.

The heartless behind them had fled when Sayuri used what appeared to be both light and darkness. He studied her carefully for any after effects. Since none seemed immediate, Luxord had a simple logical theory. "It would appear that your former being had the power of both Light and Darkness. That would explain why you were able to destroy the Heartless ahead of you, but as an unitended drawback, cause more abberations to attack us." He wasn't angered by this turn of events. Luxord felt that this could prove useful if not risky in future missons.

Sayuri turned around completely and blinked at Luxord. "Both Light and Darkness?" she asked softly. Akira could control both light and darkness? How could that - well she wouldn't know anyways. She didn't even know anything about Akira, just that she was her Nobody. And that they seemed to be complete opposites in everything. Everything besides their appearances anyways. She looked at her palms, confused as to how Akira could control both light and darkness, she just didn't think it was possible. Her hands clutched into fist and she looked at the ground. "We should move on." she said, trying to change the subject. She didn't want to think about Akira anymore, she would just want to go after her again.

Sayuri sighed softly and walked up to the coffin. The top of it had been slightly moved, and it looked like a passageway to go deeper in. She shrugged and went into the coffin.

"I'd say we're getting warming to the black heart of the Tentaclaws" Luxord said as he and Sayuri pushed through some doors to the surface after walking for a couple minutes

There seemed to be more Tentaclaws in this part of the town and Sayuri looked for a pattern again. She hadn't gotten very far when a few Hover Ghosts appeared. She immediately summoned her keyblade and she stood in a battle stance. "I hate heartless." she sighed and she attacked one of them.

Luxord whittled down the Tentaclaws "The more reason to send them back to oblivion with that blade of yours" he said

"Right." she nodded and continued to attack a Hover Ghost. Another one came up from behind her, grabbed her and lifted her up into the air. She struggled to break away from the Ghost and then it dropped her. Feeling off balance, Sayuri fell down to her knees but quickly got up. She blew her bangs out of her eyes and lunged at both Hover Ghosts, destroying one of them, then she hit the second one again and it was destroyed.
